Bing News Search

Bing's news search is part of Micrsoft's Bing search portal, launched in 2009. The news search is based on a newsbot, which was launched in 2008 under Bing's predecessor Live Search. It crawls numerous news pages on the Internet and combines the results (aggregator). In 2016, Microsoft launched a new Bot Rowe that offers personalized search suggestions. The news is primarily geobased, but it is possible to select a different region via the settings. The content is categorized into topics such as business, sports, science and more.
