|Genbeta (2008): »From Mexico comes Simploos , a somewhat peculiar search engine, and not only because it is made in flash, but because it allows us to access the results in a very visual way.
To begin with, we have a user environment that is already common in search engines, simple and practical, where we will indicate the search terms, indicating if we want websites in general or if we want websites in Spanish or simply located in Mexico.
Then we only have to choose the search engine, either Yahoo or Google, so we can only wait to show the results, a process that is a bit slow to perform, although it is worth it.
At the end we have a horizontal line of thumbnails of websites and we will move through them, getting just below this horizonal line of thumbnails of their corresponding previews to an acceptable size that allows us to know the contents without the need to access them if it was not necessary.
The truth is that it is curious, and if it were not for the slowness in the creation of results, it would be a perfect tool that complements traditional searches as we know them.« Source|
